Day 1: Depart Gympie – Tuesday 8 June 2021
This afternoon starts with your door to door pickup to Gympie Station to commence our rail journey on the Spirit of the Outback. The perfect outback Queensland experience journeys through ever-changing scenery and rugged terrain from Gympie to Longreach.
Day 2: Arrive Longreach – Wednesday 9 June 2021
This evening arrive in Longreach and transfer to your accommodation.
Day 3: Noga Station Experience – Qantas Founders Museum – Stonegrill Dining Experience – Thursday 10 June 2021
The first day takes you from your accommodation to the real heart of outback life at the Kinnon’s historic Nogo Station. Be inspired and entertained by stories of pioneering life and working station reality with your Kinnon host. Marvel at the merino story in the historic shearing sheds. Experience the incredible station safari in an open-top, double-decker bus. Visit Captain Starlight’s stockyards and have a traditional ‘smoko’ under the gum trees.
Transfer to the Qantas Founders Museum (entry included), take your time to enjoy the museum and 90-minute Jet Tour. Time to freshen up before your Stonegrill® dining experience at The Welcome Home.

Day 4: Cobb and Co. Stagecoach- Starlight Cruise Experience – Friday 11 June 2021
Start the day with the Cobb and Co. Stagecoach Experience including the stagecoach ride on the old Longreach to Windorah mail route, home-baked scones and tea at the cafe, followed by a vintage Aussie movie.
At 12pm watch the Harry Redford Old Time Tent Show with a billy-can lunch. Transfer back to your accommodation.
At around 4.30pm, we’ll picked you up and take you to the banks of the Thomson River for our ‘Starlight Cruise Experience’ It includes a hearty stockman’s dinner around the campfire with bush poetry and the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound & Light Picture Show featuring an exclusive movie that celebrates legendary local hero Harry Redford. BYO drinks.

Day 5: Winton Discovery Day Tour – Saturday 12 June 2021
It’s a 6:45am start for a full-day to Winton. Visit the Australia Age of Dinosaurs Museum and Dinosaur Canyon plus the Waltzing Matilda Centre.
Enjoy lunch at the historic North Gregory Hotel and take a stroll down the Main Street before returning to Longreach.
Dine at Longreach’s at local Chinese restaurant in the Evening.

Day 6: Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame – Sunday 13 June 2021
Visit the iconic Australian ‘Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame’. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the five galleries before lunch at the museum cafe (at your own cost). A Dinner Experience at the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame.

Day 7: Departure – Monday 14 June 2021 & Tuesday 15 June 2021
Pack your bags and say a fond farewell to Longreach. After a memorable experience in the outback, we make our way to the train Station for our overnight trip to Gympie. Our bus will meet us at arrival for our transfer back to your home.
